Whew! We sure made the switch from winter to summer in a big hurry. Well, now that the miserable hot weather has arrived with temperatures approaching the 90's, many folks (including yours truly) are turning their thoughts to camping.
In fact, this coming weekend, we are going to be camping at Convict Lake near Mammoth Lakes, Calif., complete with good company, good food, good drinks, good scenery, good accommodations and hopefully, good trout fishing.
I'll be sure to let you know how we did, when we get back.

- Bet Your Favorite Pigeon
Bet your favorite pigeon that he can't tell you why I last camped at the Mt. Rose Campground.
If he grins and says, "It was when Elaine and I were the support team for the Nevada Appeal 10-in-10 Challenge, several years ago," he could have been of the four athletes in that challenge.
