A memorial service for Charles Thomas "Tom" Gardner, 60, a Gardnerville and Carson City area resident for the past 25 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden.
Mr. Gardner died April 20, 2004, at home in Antioch, Calif. He was born April 26, 1943, in Oregon.
Before moving to the local area, he lived in California.
Mr. Gardner worked at the Carson Valley Inn for five years. He enjoyed golfing, camping and spending time with his family.
Among his survivors are his wife of 25 years, Mary Ann; daughters and sons-in-law Stephanie and Rob Harris of Antioch, Leticia and Jim Herbert of Carson City and Lori and Michelle of Pittsburg, Calif.; grandchildren Cortney, Robert, Zachary and Whitney; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Brad Rathbun; brother, Jim Crudele; and many nieces and nephews.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
