A service for Sharon K. Brown, 63, a Dayton resident for the past nine years, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Dayton.
Mrs. Brown died May 22, 2004, at her home. She was born Feb. 13, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Jack and Ruth Wilson Pickering.
She married Richard "Dick" Brown Nov. 13, 1976, in Southern California.
Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Brown was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, rubber stamping and all arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Edward Mark Fresquez.
Among her survivors are her husband of Dayton; sons Richard William Fresquez of Burbank, Calif., and Ronald Anthony Fresquez of Nashville, Tenn.; daughter, Colleen Murphy Moore of Dayton; stepdaughter, Pam Brown Camacho of California; brother, John Sellman of Iowa; sisters Janice Sankot of Minnesota and Suzette of Iowa and grandchildren Jahnathan and Joshua Fresquez, Richard and Tristan Moore and Pamela, Charlie and Richard Camacho.
