Carson City's Marriage Bureau will be open. Steam train No. 8 will be up and running at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, but most city and state entities will be closed on Monday as Carson City celebrates Memorial Day.
The following is a quick rundown of what will and won't be available in Carson City on Monday.
With the exception of emergency services, state and Carson City government offices will be closed.
The Carson City Marriage Bureau, 885 E. Musser St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Carson City Sheriff's Department front offices will be closed.
The Carson City Senior Citizens Center along with Dayton, Douglas County, Silver Springs, Storey County and Fernley centers will be closed.
The Carson City Public Library is closed.
The Northern Nevada Children's Museum is closed.
The Boys & Girls Club will be closed Monday and again on Thursday and Friday for staff CPR and first-aid training.
Carson City's Community Center will be closed.
All banks queried, including Business Bank of Nevada, Bank of the West, Heritage Bank and Irwin Union Bank, will be closed.
The Nevada Appeal will be delivered as usual, but business offices will be closed.
