Visitation for Wray Eugene Emrich, 77, a Carson City resident for the past 13 years, will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Emrich died Nov. 2, 2004, in Reno. He was born Sept. 15, 1927, in Stanberry, Mo., to Mark and Elsie Duley Emrich.

He married Molly Shams June 9,1972, in Iran.

Mr. Emrich was an aviation machinist in the U.S. Navy and later for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft.

He retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer and served during World War II and Korea. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Earl.

Among his survivors are his wife, Molly of Carson City; sons Wray Jr. of Charleston, S.C., and Wayne of Culbertson, Neb.; daughter, Linda Blake of McCook, Neb.; brothers Harold of Fort White, Fla., and Robert of Cameron, Mo.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held in Stanberry. Burial will be in the High Ridge Cemetery in Stanberry.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
