Barbara Davis Brown, 84, a Carson City resident for the past two years, died Oct. 29, 2004, at Evergreen Mountain View Care Center. She was born July 24, 1920, in Texas to James Robert and Louis Rivera McGauhy.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Marshall, Texas.
Mrs. Brown was a big-game hunter. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; three brothers and two sisters.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Chuck Wohosky of Carson City; grandchildren Brett Noble of Texas, Michael Noble of San Jose, Calif., and Richard Noble of Los Angeles; and great-grandchildren Chase Michael Noble, Siobhan Noble and Ariana Noble.
No service is scheduled.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
