The Ormsby Sportsmen's Association (OSA) will hold its annual, end-of-the-year banquet on this Saturday evening, Dec. 4.
It will be held at the Carson Nugget Convention Center.
The OSA banquet will begin with a no-host cocktail hour at about 6 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner at 6:30.
There will be a full evening of door prizes, raffles, live auctions, introductions, serious presentations, "burn awards," etc.
One of the burn awards is for the member who "goofed up" the most during the year.
The cost for the banquet is $20 per person.
Also included on the evening's agenda will be the introduction of the club's new president for 2005, the introduction of the three newly-elected directors to the club's nine-member board of directors and the introduction of the organization's surviving honorary life members.
Beginning January 18, 2005, the club will hold its regular, monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of the month at the Carson Nugget at 7:30 p.m.
All OSA functions are open to the public and you do not need to be a member to attend.
The organization's annual club dues are $5 per person for adults and $2 per person for those youngsters under the age of 16.
For banquet reservations or for information about the club, call either President Jack Cook at 882-8556 or Past President Norm Budden at 884-0348 or LaNora Clyde at 841-5758.
