Michael Roger Lariviere, 47, a Spring Valley, Calif., resident for the past 14 years, died Nov. 25, 2004, in Carson City. He was born Sept. 19, 1957, in Hollywood, Calif., to Roger and Lorraine Jacobson Lariviere.
He attended Phineas Banning High School.
Before moving to Spring Valley, he lived in Kailua, Hawaii, from 1976 to 1979.
Mr. Lariviere served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1976 to 1988, retiring in 1988.
He was preceded in death by his father on Nov. 7, 1994.
Among his survivors are his wife, Susan of Spring Valley; son and daughter-in-law Roger and Olivia of LaMesa, Calif.; daughters Amanda Lariviere and Christina Lariviere and son David, all of Spring Valley; brother, Richard Earle of Bonanza, Ore.; sisters Caralee Malen of Broomfield, Colo., Sherry Whitaker of Dayton, Maureen Olson of Gothenburg, Neb., and Dina LaPorte of Carson City; mother, Lorraine of Fort Collins, Colo.; granddaughter, Trinity Lariviere of LaMesa; grandson, Trevor Fowler of Spring Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Private inurnment will be at a later date.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
