Robert Edward Thomas, 78, a Yerington resident for the past 16 years, died Nov. 29, 2004, at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington.
He was born Feb. 5, 1926, in Los Angeles.
Mr. Thomas worked for the movie studios in Southern California in many different positions, eventually becoming a cameraman.
He was a World War II veteran and a prisoner of war.
Among his survivors are his wife, June; children Richard, Stephen, Patricia, Sondra, Robyn and Leona; grandson, Beau; and a brother and sister.
At his request, no service will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
