A memorial for Robin Rae Rondeau, a former Virginia City resident, will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the Ponderosa Saloon in Virginia City.
Ms. Rondeau died Nov. 23, 2004, in Simi Valley, Calif. She was born July 1, 1953, in Santa Monica, Calif., to Charles and Marlys Rondeau. She was 51.
Ms. Rondeau worked for the Gold Hill Hotel for the past 10 years.
She was active in the Virginia City Motorcycle Marathon, a not-for-profit organization which raises money for less fortunate members of the community.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Rene Rondeau.
Among her survivors are her children Bryce Moore and Megan Moore, both of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; sister Marla Shaw of Sherman Oaks; brothers Richard Rondeau of Virginia City and Robert Rondeau of Toluca Lake, Calif.; grandchildren Ben and J.J. Moore; and six nephews.
Private services will be held in California.
