Marceline G. Carl

A memorial service for Marceline G. Carl, 80, a 14-year Carson City resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Carl died Oct. 15, 2004, in Carson City.

She was born Sept. 27, 1924, in Litchfield, Ill., to Frederick and Louella Emig.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in West Los Angeles.

Mrs. Carl was a member of the Carson-Tahoe Hospital Women's Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, who died in May 2002; and daughter, Kathy, who died in 1976.

Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Vickie Carl of Carson City; grandchildren Todd and Kimberly Carl; and two great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be held at Walton's Sierra Crematory. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
