A memorial service for Robert W. Disney, 75, a Carson City resident for the past five years, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Mr. Disney died Oct. 23, 2004, in Carson City.
He was born Aug. 3, 1929, in Kansas to Robert and Mayme Disney.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Concord, Calif.
Mr. Disney was a veterinarian. He was a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association and the American Legion in Carson City.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Concord.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Among his survivors are his wife of 44 years, Wanita of Carson City; children John Mitchell, Toby Martin, Robert Damon and Claire Bickert, all of Concord, Phyllis Edwards of Anderson, Calif., and Mayme M. Disney of Concord; sister, Phyllis Lonnon of St. Paul, Minn.; brother, Richard of Pittsburgh; and eight grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
