View total lunar eclipse at WNCC
The Jack C. Davis Observatory at Western Nevada Community
College will be open tonight to view the total lunar eclipse. The public is invited to view the eclipse and other celestial objects for free.
Members of the Western Nevada Astronomical Society will help with telescope viewing and answer questions.
The observatory will be open from 7-9:30 p.m. The eclipse begins at 7:23 p.m. and lasts until 8:45 p.m.
The observatory is at 2699 Van Patten St.
