A memorial service for Danella Rae Addis, 81, a Gardnerville resident for the past eight years, will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 18, at the Ruhenstroth Volunteer Fire Station, 2008 Pinto Circle, Gardnerville.
Mrs. Addis died Aug. 27, 2004, in Gardnerville. She was born Oct. 20, 1922, in Alva, Okla., to Laura and Ford Farris.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Bishop, Calif.
Mrs. Addis enjoyed camping, needlework, puzzles, games, reading and dogs.
She was preceded in death by her son, James B. in 1979; husband, Bernard "Whitey" in 1985; great-grandson, Phillip Duwayne Lovelady in 1989; and son-in-law Lawrence Wallace in 2002.
Among her survivors are her sister, Elfrieda Harris of Bend, Ore.; daughter Pat Wallace of Gardnerville; daughters and sons-in-law Kathy Lee and Gary Jordan of Gardnerville and Sue Ann and Ed Stokke of San Jose, Calif.; sons and daughters-in-law Tom and Michelle of Silver Springs and Danny and Lisa of Hilliard, Ohio; grandchildren Lori Cook, Dee Dee Lovelady, David Jordan, Bonnie Graybill, Kristy Nuzum, Chrysies Stokke, Amber Stokke, Lalande Stokke and Wyatt Addis; and five great-grandchildren.
