Dayton volleyball sweeps

Amanda Sbragia had a huge serving match with 10 aces as the Dayton volleyball team rolled in its Northern 3A opener, beating Sparks 25-21, 25-9, 25-10. Sbragia added four blocks and six kills.

Also for Dayton, Shaelynn Morris had 12 assists, Sara Simmons had three kills, Melony Cox had two kills and three aces and Macy Hamlin and Michelle Bowman each added two blocks. Dayton won the junior varsity match 25-22, 25-16 and lost the freshmen match 25-22, 12-25, 8-15.
