Dayton volleyball sweeps

Amanda Sbragia nearly had a triple double for the Dayton High volleyball team as it rolled to a 26-24, 25-9, 25-19 win over Spring Creek on Friday.

Sbragia had 17 kills, nine blocks and eight digs as Dayton improved to 2-0 in Northern 3A play. Also for Dayton, Sarah Connet had three kills, 14 assists, one block and two digs, Michelle Bowman had three kills, two blocks, two assists and five digs, Shaelynn Morris had five assists and Melony Cox had three aces and two kills. Dayton won the freshmen match by lost the junior varsity contest.
