Patricia Bowers, 74, a Carson City resident for the past 50 years, died Sept. 19, 2004, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 21, 1929, in Colorado, to Orbia D. and Margaret Peterson.
She was trained in violin and piano at Mount Saint Scholastica in Cañon City, Colo.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in San Mateo, Calif.
Mrs. Bowers was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and loved to read and garden. She enjoyed feeding wild birds in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, in March 2004 and son, Thomas, in 1997.
Among her survivors are her son, Patrick, of Carson City and grandsons Patrick Daniel and Joseph.
At her request, no service will be held.
