The Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRT) has announced that it will host the Mt. Rose Trail and Welcome Center ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. at the new Welcome Center, located at Tahoe Meadows.
The general public is invited to join the TRT Association in celebrating the grand opening of that trail and the welcome center.
Tahoe Meadows is located adjacent to Nevada S.R. 431 (The Mt. Rose Highway) near the summit of Mt. Rose, between Reno and Incline Village at Lake Tahoe.
The Tahoe Rim Trail is a 165 mile hiking and biking trail that encompasses Lake Tahoe.
