A memorial for Betty Jo Coats, 72, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
Ms. Coats died April 8, 2005, at her home.
She was born Oct. 5, 1932, in Oklahoma City to Elmer and Lucile Bogle.
Prior to living in Carson City, she lived in Yorba Linda, Calif. Ms. Coats enjoyed reading.
Among her survivors are her sons Roger L. of Carson City and Greg of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughters Cheryl Wood of Stagecoach and Cindy Cooper of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; brother, Robert Bogle of California; and seven grandchildren.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
