Black commits to Central Methodist

Carson High graduate Rodney Black has committed to playing baseball at Central Methodist University, an NAIA school, next season.

Black, a 2002 CHS graduate, is an infielder at Cerro Coso Community College in Ridgecrest, Calif. and will enroll next year at Central Methodist as a junior and will major in sociology. He's receiving a scholarship that will cover nearly all of his costs at the school.
