Road construction report

Construction on Carson City streets the week of Aug. 15-19. Delays possible.

• Phase I of the Roop Street widening from Winnie Lane to Beverly Drive continues with Roop Street closed between Winnie Lane and Beverly Drive. This condition will exist into early September.

• The Saliman Road reclaimed water line extension project from Mills Park to Little Lane continues. Expect slight delays and traffic controls with flaggers. The east entrance to Mills Park is accessible.

• Pavement repairs continue on the streets below C Hill where new sewer and water mains were recently installed. While various daily street closures will occur, detours will be signed.

• Plaza Street continues to be closed between Musser Street and Proctor Street for the City Hall expansion project. This closure will continue into mid-October.

• All of the freeway construction impacts will continue.
