The third victim in Friday's fatal auto accident near Topsy Lane was identified Monday by the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Trooper Chuck Allen said 20-year-old Elijah Mungaray was not wearing a seat belt when the rollover occurred, and he was ejected. He was in critical condition in the intensive-care unit of Washoe Medical Center following the 10 p.m. accident. His condition was unavailable Monday.

The driver of the car, 33-year-old James Baer of Indian Hills, died at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle after it rolled several times.

Passenger Archie E. Jessmer, 26, of Carson City was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. He was treated at the scene.

"The Highway Patrol would like to strongly emphasize the use of seat belts," Allen said. "The individual that was properly restrained in the vehicle was not ejected during the accident and sustained only a minor injury to his head."
