William "Bill" Sellars, 77, a 20-year Carson City resident, died Aug. 18, 2005, in Reno. He was born Jan. 3, 1928, in San Luis Obispo, Calif., to William Frances and Allie Sellars.
He married Dolores in Carson City.
Before coming to Carson City, he lived in Lake Almanor, Calif.
Mr. Sellars enjoyed mining for gold and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was a member of the Local 12 International Union of Operating Engineers and worked as an operating engineer in construction.
Among his survivors are his wife of 57 years, Dolores, of Carson City; sons Bruce of Carson City, Jim of Eugene, Ore., and Steven of Santa Ana, Calif.; daughter Linda Sellars of Carson City; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
