Douglas boys soccer beats Incline

The Douglas boys soccer team opened the season with a 2-0 win over Incline on Friday in the Galena Tournament.


Douglas broke a 0-0 tie by scoring two goals in the second half. David Sturgess scored on an assist from Brandon Carlson and Michael Gransbery scored on assist from Steve Done with two minutes left.


Midfielder Martin Rubio, forward Justin Norvell and defender Travis Goldade all played well while goalie Chris Aguilar posted the shutout. Douglas finished play in the tournament today against Galena, Truckee and Reno High.
