According to a recent press release by the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW), Robert Haughian has joined NDOW as Operations Bureau Chief.

He comes from a long military background emphasizing human resource management.

Haughian will be responsible for directing the business affairs of the wildlife department, including the management of the customer service programs: Fishing, hunting, and trapping licensing, boat titling and boat registration, and hunt applications.

He will oversee accounting, human resources, engineering and building maintenance, information technology, air operations, and will also oversee the regional administrative offices.

"We're delighted to have an administrator of Bob's caliber join our staff," said Terry Crawforth, NDOW's Director. "From modernizing a personnel accounting process at the Pentagon to re-vamping regulations and policies for U.S. forces in Japan, Bob has demonstrated the capacity to coordinate with multiple agencies, lead staff, promote teamwork, and achieve goals," Crawforth continued.

Haughian holds a masters degree in management from Webster University.

He has a life-long love of hunting and downhill skiing, and enjoys sharing those passions with his children.
