A funeral service for Catherine Theresa Clark, 96, of Genoa, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Port Jervis, N.Y., with the Rev. August A. Ricciardi officiating.
A prayer service will be held at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clark died Dec. 22, 2005, at the Carson Valley Residential Care Facility in Gardnerville. She was born May 6, 1909, in Ireland to James and Margaret Keeney.
Before coming to Genoa she lived in Matamoras, Penn.
She was formerly a member of the Alter and Rosary Society and Matamoras Senior Citizens. She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church, the Douglas County Senior Citizens Center and the 90-Plus Club of Douglas County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Clark, on Nov. 29, 1977; son John J. Clark; brother Charles Keeney; sister Anna Meehan, and foster children Matthew Grant and Dolores Pickett.
Among her survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law Theresa and Robert Anderson of Genoa, Margaret and Ray Kennedy of Pleasantville, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis, N.Y.
Gray-Parker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
