A graveside service for Alva Pearl Luca, 88, a Dayton resident for the past 16 years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Dayton Cemetery with Father Michael of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church officiating.
Mrs. Luca died Feb. 12, 2005, at Evergreen Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 8, 1916, in Los Angeles, to Stojan and Ada Little Moro.
After graduating from high school in 1934, she attended two years of secretarial school.
She married Nick Luca in 1942 in Los Angeles.
Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Downey, Calif.
Mrs. Luca was a homemaker in the later part of her life.
She was a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her husband and brothers John and William.
Among her survivors are her children Richard of Carson City and Barbara Luca of Dayton; sister, Ann Vukojevich of Carson City; grandchildren Lori, Steven and Anthony Luca and many extended family members.
Mrs.Luca's ashes will be buried with her husband's at the Dayton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyon County Animal Shelter in Silver Springs.
