Doris Ann Jones, 84, a Carson City resident for the past two years, died Feb. 14, 2005, in Carson City. She was born March 21, 1920, in Anderson, Ind.
She married Christopher Perry Jones.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Yerington.
Mrs. Jones enjoyed traveling and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1989; son, Robert O'Bryant in 2005; and sister, Maxine Richter in 1980.
Among her survivors are her stepsons Bill Jones of Minden, Richard D. Jones of Payson, Ariz., and Gary L. Jones of Spokane, Wash.; daughter, Martha Byassee of Scott City, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
At her request, no service will be held.
Inurnment will be at Fredricksburg Cemetery in Fredricksburg, Calif.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
