Dave Beronio of Douglas County has requested that if anyone has any information on the mounted California bighorn sheep head that was stolen from a residence in northwest Reno on Friday Feb. 18, would they please contact him immediately.

That sheep head was taken along with a number of tools and two buck mule deer mounts.

The California bighorn ram has a large crack along the centerline of the right horn and is sealed with Nevada Department of Wildlife Seal No. 010 on the back of the right horn.

The ram was harvested in 2004 in Unit No. 041, east of the Winnemucca Lake dry lake bed. It was a 7-year-old ram and scored 158 1/8 Boone and Crockett Points.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Beronio can be reached at either 265-2972 or 781-1514 or by email at beronio2bears@hotmail.com.
