A memorial service for Jane Ann Harden Clement, 85, a Roundhill resident for the past 35 years, will be at 10 a.m. March 5 at Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church, 1 Elk Point Road, Zephyr Cove. A rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. Clement died Feb. 22, 2005, at her home. She was born May 10, 1919, in San Francisco to Robert Durant and Hermina Gardner Lathrop Harden.
She was educated at Mount St. Mary's on the Hudson, Newburg, N.Y.
She married Robert E. Clement June 10, 1949, at Stanford University.
Mrs. Clement was a world traveler of more than 125 countries. She was a homemaker.
She was a life member of Soroptimist, Kiwanis, Red Cross, Barton Hospital Auxiliary and Tahoe Cancer Society and a member of Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by sister, Sebelle VonHafften.
Among her survivors are her husband; sons and daughters-in-law Robert W. and Betty of Eagle Point, Ore., and Jack A. and Linda of White City, Ore.; daughter Charlene A. Clement of Livermore, Calif.; daughters and sons-in-law Mishell A. and Terry Clement-Hocevar of San Diego and Marla and Michael Burdett of Carson City; sister, Barbara Older of Los Gatos, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
