RENO - Nevada forward Nick Fazekas broke his nose against Fresno State Saturday night, but he isn't expected to miss either of this week's road games at Hawai'i on Thursday night and San Jose State on Saturday afternoon.

Fazekas took an accidental elbow from a Fresno State player with 2:15 left in Saturday's game (76-63 Nevada win). He immediately left the game, and never returned to action.

Fox said Fazeakas' nose bled for about an hour after the game. Fazekas, who scored his 1,000th career point in the second half of Saturday's win, was unable to participate in post-game interviews.

Fazekas' nose had to be repacked during the bus trip home by trainer Shelly Germann.

"He didn't have much pain at all (on Sunday)," Nevada coach Mark Fox said during Monday's weekly Western Athletic Conference teleconference. "His nose has been reset.

"He's going to wear something (over the nose) just as a precaution whether he wants to or not."
