A visitation for Carol Olvera, 61, a Carson City resident for the past 18 years, will be from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at 1501 Goldfield Ave.
Mrs. Olvera died Jan. 3, 2005, at her home. She was born Dec. 21, 1943, in Mifflin County, Pa., to Albert W. and Loris Nathan Mulrean.
She graduated from La Puente High School in 1961.
She married Joe Olvera in Reno in 1976.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Napa, Calif., for 11 years.
Mrs. Olvera was a slot attendant at the Horseshoe Club for 16 years. She also worked as a cashier at Payless in Napa. She enjoyed vacationing at Lake Shasta.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; daughters and sons-in-law Lisa and Corey Evans and Kim and Scott Neely, all of Vallejo, Calif.; grandchildren Brandon, Matthew and Alexis; brother and sister-in-law John and Donna Mulrean of Lakeside, Calif.; sister, Joyce Helveston and friend, Fran Armanino.
