Search and Rescue crews hit the Virginia Range about 2 a.m. in the driving snow Saturday to search for the source of flashing lights seen as a commercial airliner flew over Fernley Friday night.
By noon crews had not found anyone via Silver Springs and the Lyon County Sheriff's Department was hoping to reach the area through Fernley.
