A funeral Mass for Frank B. Longaberger, 79, a Carson City resident for 20 years, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

Mr. Longaberger died Jan. 13, 2005, in Carson City.

He was born Aug. 30, 1925, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Wallace and Claire Longaberger.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Long Beach, Calif.

Mr. Longaberger retired from the Fullerton Union School District as custodial supervisor in 1985. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II.

He was a Catholic.

He enjoyed hiking and camping and was a member of the Sierra Club in Long Beach.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Among his survivors are his wife of 57 years, Audrey; daughters and sons-in-law Frances and Robert Jackson of Long Beach, Cindy and Alfred Baca of Modesto, Calif.; daughter Barbara Longaberger of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother George of Long Beach; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
