Ronald R. Hamlett, 54, a Carson City resident for the past five years, died Jan. 15, 2005, in Carson City.
He was born June 3, 1950, in Mesa, Ariz., to Armond and Cecelia Cox Hamlett.
He attended Gilbert High School.
He married Cyrethia Taul Nov. 16, 1983, in Ironton, Mo.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Valley Lake in De Soto, Mo.
Mr. Hamlett was a heavy-equipment operator for Ames Construction Co. He was a member of Northern Nevada Local 3, Operating Engineers.
He was preceded in death by his father Nov. 1, 2002.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; son, Harley of De Soto; mother, Cecelia Hamlett Paige; brothers Ed of Minden and Robert of Chandler, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
A service will be held at a later date in Patton, Mo.
Burial will be in Reagan's Chapel Cemetery in Patton.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
