A funeral for William Lee "Bill" Warren, 67, a Carson City resident for the past 13 years, will be at 2 p.m. today at Mount Vernon Funeral Home in Fair Oaks, Calif.
Mr. Warren died Jan. 21, 2005, at home of cancer.
He was born Sept. 28, 1937, in Coalgate, Okla., to Bert and Ruby Snoddy Warren.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in California.
Mr. Warren worked in construction, building everything from the Folsom Dam at age 16 to fine cabinets at age 67.
He enjoyed traveling and camping at Lake Almanor, Calif. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Carpenters Union.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dean; sisters Dolly and Dee; and grandson Joey.
Among his survivors are his wife, Patti of Carson City; daughter, Terri; sons Michael of Placerville, Calif., and Billy; stepsons Kenny, Lee, Lance and Lane; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks.
