The Carson Bulldogs youth wrestling club showed its strength by winning a Sierra Wrestling Association tournament it hosted on Sunday at Carson High.
More than 300 wrestlers and 1,200 spectators were present at the meet in which 19 teams from Nevada and California competed. The Sparks Raiders took second, the Douglas Wildcats were third and Spartan Wrestling took fourth.
The Bulldogs had six champions at the meet: Trenton Robinson, Brady Rodina, Kye Catlin, Brady O'Keefe, Nolan Shine, Austin Klesow and Patrick Craugh.
Others who placed for the Bulldogs were: Jacob DeBusk, fourth; Cole Catlin, second; Tanner DeBusk, third; Marcus Gallegos, fourth; Bryce Moyle, third; Devlin Munsdeane, fifth; Matthew Barrett, third; Cody Cunningham, third; Brandon Davidson, sixth; Nevin Elliott, second; Nicholas Lani, third.
