Allen Laroy Wooley

Allen Laroy Wooley, 48, of Reno died Jan. 29, 2005, at his home near Bordertown, after losing his battle with diabetes. He was born June 13, 1956, to Roy Calvin and Lola Wooley.

He lived in Empire until moving to Raleigh Heights in the 1960s.

He attended Trainer Junior High and Hug High, where he played varsity football.

He married Nancy in 1996.

Mr. Wooley worked as a cook in Reno for many years at the Cal-Neva and John Ascuaga's Nugget, where he met his wife. He enjoyed dirt bikes as a youth and loved his Harley. He loved the outdoors and camping with his friends. He was a loyal Raiders fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Among his survivors are his wife, Nancy; stepchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends.
