Carol Albert Fabri

A funeral Mass for Carol Albert Fabri, 93, a lifetime Yerington resident, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Yerington.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church.

Mr. Fabri died July 7, 2005, in Yerington. He was born June 29, 1912, in Yerington to Louis P. and Gemma Masini Fabri.

He received a bachelor of science degree from Fresno State University in California.

He married Beatrice M. Wood Dec. 11, 1945, in Carson City.

Mr. Fabri was a retail businessman. He was a member of the American Legion, 20/30 Club, Rotary, Elks, Sigma Alpha Chi fraternity and Holy Family Catholic Church.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a staff sergeant and was discharged in December 1945.

He was preceded in death by his brother Peter.

Among his survivors are his wife; daughters and sons-in-law Carolyn and William Pal-Freeman of Apple Valley, Minn., and Lynda and Tom Chism and Joyce and Russ Colletta, all of Yerington; sister, Eleanor Fabri Parke of Yerington; brother Harry of Palo Alto, Calif.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three nephews; and one niece.

Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery.
