Clarence E. "Chick" Brunson, 92, a longtime Carson City resident, died July 1, 2005, at Providence Hospital in Medford, Ore. He was born Aug. 23, 1912, in Los Angeles
Mr. Brunson owned and operated Brunson's Richfield Service Station at 720 S. Carson St. from 1957-64. He then owned and operated A-1 Building Maintenance until his retirement.
He owned and operated several service stations throughout California, Oregon and Nevada.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for nine years.
Among his survivors are sons and daughters-in-law Donn J. and Barbara of Tacoma, Wash., and Gene T. and Carol of Williams, Ore.; daughter and son-in-law Bonnie Jean and Jim Lewis of Michigamme, Mich.; brother and sister-in-law, Chester "Chet" and Dorothy of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; sister Vivian Bassett of Anaheim, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
No service will be held.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford.
Hull & Hull Funeral Directors of Grants Pass, Ore., are in charge of arrangements.
