A graveside service for Mildred Mary Kyle, 81, a Gardnerville resident for the past 59 years, will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Mottsville Cemetery in Gardnerville.

Mrs. Kyle died July 19, 2005, in Reno. She was born May 7, 1924, in Rainier, Ore., to Prestley Floyd and Enid Mildred Tarbell McAboy.

She married Donald Russell Kyle on Dec. 16, 1945. They were married for 51 years before his death.

Mrs. Kyle worked at the Dangberg Meat Market in Minden, a milling company and a local dental office. She retired as county office assistant at the Farmers Home Administration.

Among her survivors are her daughters Jeannette Blackburn of Elko and Kathy Mortimer of Gardnerville; sister, Carol Maxine Howard of Toledo, Ore.; grandchildren Carrie Nolting of Minden, Cristy Menzer of Gardnerville, Mike Aiazzi of Sparks and Kyle Blackburn of Elko; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Talking Book Program, Regional Library for the Blind, Nevada State Library, Capitol Complex, Carson City, NV 89710.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
