Richard W. Pace

A funeral service for Richard W. Pace, 80, a Carson City resident since 1988, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Pace died July 22, 2005, in Reno. He was born Feb. 3, 1925, in St. Paul, Minn., to Carl and Marie Pace.

He married Irene Pace in 1948.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Denver, Colo.

Mr. Pace worked for Amoco Oil Co. for more than 30 years.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II.

Among his survivors are his wife; son Steve; sons and daughters-in-law Jerry and JoAnn, and Richard and Brenda, all of Carson City; sister, Delores Johnson, of St. Paul; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
