The annual, fund raising, Big Mack Feed, which has always been held on the first Friday of August at the clubhouse of the Tahoe City Golf Course in Tahoe City, Calif., will not be held this year.

Founder, Mickey Daniels of Carnelian Bay at North Lake Tahoe reported that the fund raiser will not be held this year due to a lack of necessary volunteers.

If it had been held, 2005 would have been the 27th version.

Daniels did say that the "Mack Will Be Back" next year for sure.

The proceeds of this annual event are donated to a number of worthwhile causes in the greater North Lake Tahoe and Truckee area.

The Big Mack Feed has always been highlighted by a unique outdoor dinner consisting of French rolls, butter, fresh fruit, various salads, a Mackinaw trout salad, roast pork, ear corn and a wild game stew with deer, duck, goose, pheasant, etc., plus dessert.
