A funeral service for Carl Huffstetler, 84, a Carson City resident since 1991, will be at 11 a.m. today at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
A visitation was Monday at Walton's.
Mr. Huffstetler died July 28, 2005, in Carson City. He was born Nov. 25, 1920, in Hartville, Mo., to Jesse and Grace Huffstetler.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Hacienda Heights, Calif.
He was an accountant. He enjoyed target shooting, trap shooting, fishing and traveling.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served as a flight mechanic during World War II.
He was a member of the Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Among his survivors are his wife of 32 years, Pennie; sons and daughters-in-law Jerry S. and Nancy of Lancaster, Calif., and Jeffry J. and Linda of Corona, Calif.; daughters Carla S. Huffstetler of Salt Lake City and Caren Kerley of Carson City; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Little Creek Cemetery in Hartville.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
