The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A retired 55-year-old Dayton man was arrested at 11:56 p.m. Thursday at Carson- Tahoe Hospital on suspicion of driving under the influence, a first offense, after allegedly driving his sick wife to the emergency room. According to police reports, the suspect allegedly tested just at or under the legal limit on a breathalyzer test.
Bail was set at $1,132.
• Ian Franklin Orr, 43, of Gardnerville, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. Saturday on suspicion of a second offense driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, and resisting arrest with violence, a gross misdemeanor, after allegedly accosting sheriff's deputies outside a bar on North Carson Street.
Bail was set at $3,764.
• A 24-year-old food server from Carson City was arrested at 6:47 p.m. Friday on charges of misdemeanor contempt of court for allegedly failing to pay fines.
Bail was set at $909.
• A 46-year-old Carson City carpenter and a 53-year-old woman were arrested at 2:50 p.m. Friday on suspicion of gross misdemeanor violation of a stalking order.
The man was also charged with misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence for allegedly failing to attend a DUI class. Bail for the man was set at $5,500 cash.
