A fifth day of searching came up empty in the hunt for a Virginia City man believed drowned in Lake Lahontan.
Lyon County Sheriff's Capt. Jeff Page said searchers are still scouring the reservoir's shores in hopes of recovering the body of Tim Easley, 21.
Easley was last seen struggling to swim off Beach 6 after jumping from a boat into the water with friends at about 5 p.m. Saturday.
Sonar-equipped boats cruised the murky lake until Monday, when a full-scale search was called off.
Also, authorities are no closer to identifying or confirming whether another man, allegedly seen struggling near Beach 7, did drown.
Page said there have been no reports of anyone missing other than Easley.
Campers reported seeing someone yelling for help about 5:30 a.m. on Monday some 250 yards from shore. By the time they got in a boat and reached the area, the man was gone, Page said.
One theory on his identity is he may have been involved in the theft of a Jet Ski. The stolen watercraft was found on an opposite shore, having run out of gas. Page said it's possible friends of the second man may not want to report him missing if he was involved in the theft.
Lahontan Recreation Area is 45 miles northeast of Carson City via Highway 50 East.
