A graveside service for Cecille E. DeLeon, 78, a Carson City resident for the past 18 years, was Monday at Masonic Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. died June 2, 2005, at Regent Care Center. She was born March 26, 1927, in Reno to Cecil and Edith Matthisen.
She was a fifth-generation Nevadan.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Reno for 60 years.
Mrs. DeLeon was a Southern Pacific Railroad Dispatcher for 16 years and worked at Harolds Club as a 21 dealer for 32 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Balmain of Reno.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Carol Limasa of Redding, Calif.; sons Michael Peterson of Carson City and John Schritter and Terry Schritter, both of Redding, Calif.; sister, Ardyth Jolly of Reno; brothers Roy Favetto of Montana and Cecil Matthisen of Reno; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
