A memorial for Mary L. Griffiths, 94, a Carson City resident for the past 45 years, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Springs Assisted Living in the Bristlecone Building in Carson City.
Mrs. Griffiths died June 19, 2005, in Carson City.
Mrs. Griffiths was born Oct. 12, 1910, to Ned W. and Mary Teats in Iola, Kan.
Mrs. Griffiths was a longtime employee for the Bureau of Indian Affairs at the Stewart Indian School.
In her retirement years, Mrs. Griffiths enjoyed painting and donated many of them to Mountain Springs, and art supplies to Carson High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Griffiths; and sister Nedean Ratner.
Among her survivors are her sister Wilma Damme of Hollister, Mo.; two nieces; and two nephews.
Cremation is under the direction of Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
