Free e-Waste disposal available July 1 - 3

A free electronic waste disposal weekend is scheduled Friday through July 3 in Mound House.

The drive aims to highlight the importance of proper recycling and disposal of electronic waste - and keep environmentally damaging elements out of landfills, said Michelle Fissori, owner of the e-Waste Depot and 2nd Place consignment and thrift store.

If it has an electric plug or runs on a battery it's e-Waste.

The center accepts all e-waste except televisions.

Business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The e-Waste depot is at 10128-D Highway 50 East in Mound House (behind Second Hand Rose). Contact Michelle Fissori at 246-1779 or e-mail: 2ndPlace@ShopMoundHouse.com.
