A memorial service for Margaret H. McRoberts a 26-year resident of Carson City, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
A gathering immediately following the service will be held at the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive. Guests are asked to enter at the east entrance.
Mrs. McRoberts died June 25, 2005, at home.
She was born Nov. 29, 1914, in San Salvador, El Salvador.
She married George W. McRoberts on Nov. 30, 1940, in Yuma, Ariz.
Mrs. McRoberts was a former member of the Republican Women's Club of Carson City and a former volunteer at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
She attended Hilltop Community Church.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; sons Bill McRoberts of Sudden Valley, Wash., and Jim McRoberts of San Leandro, Calif.; brother, Rene Beaumont of Laguna Nigel, Calif.; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Memorial contributions in her name can be made to Hilltop Community Church.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
